IllSide Radio Mix Show: Happy Birthday Tupac

By Odeisel (Founder of & Co-Host of IllSide Radio)

The Planet, along with Chicago’s own Square-One of B-Side Radio, have joined forces to bring you the week in review in Hip-Hop and current events, along with the occasional special guest and some music to keep you moving through your day.

You’ve been listening to us yap for a while now and the dynamic duo has decided to go back to the beats and do a full on mix show. We’re going to let the music do (most of) the talking and hit you with some of the dopest music from the week that was for those that either missed it or aren’t connected to the music enough to get the latest heat. Heaven forbid people have actual jobs.

Today would have been the 40th birthday of rapper/actor Tupac Shakur had he still been with us. Though he was tragically taken from us 15 years ago, he still casts a shadow over the Hip-Hop landscape large enough that many herald him as the greatest rapper ever. We may not agree here on IllSide Radio, but we respect his legacy and the effect that he had on both his fans and competing musicians. In this special edition of the illSide Radio Mix Show, we take a look at a few of our favorite Tupac songs and why we think they rock.

Sit back, relax and take a ride on the Ill Side
