BSide Radio X The Chicago Edition Podcast Interviews Panik from the Molemen

I’ve been hunting down Panik for many a years looking to score that interview with somebody who was instrumental in creating the Chicago hip hop culture. I got it, and it’s now here for you to check out. Panik’s production has been the soundtrack for Chicago hip hop for almost 20 years and he’s still grinding harder than ever with beats on Vakill’s newest album, Armor of God, and looking forward to adding another edition to the Chicago City Limits compilation project. I ask him about the early days of Molemen records, meeting Vakill, what it is to really be a producer versus a beat maker, what equipment he’s currently using and lots more. So check it out below, and don’t forget you can subscribe to The Chicago Edition podcast on itunes.
