The Chicago Edition Podcast talks with North Coast Festival’s Co-Founder, Mike Raspatello

North Coast Music Festival is heading in to it’s second year of providing a dynamic batch of music from different genre’s for your listening pleasure. Last year the festival attracted 50,000 patron’s to see the likes of Nas, De La Soul, Flying Lotus, Moby, Lupe Fiasco and such. This year the line up is equally as appealing with Common, Wiz Khalifia, David Guetta, and Major Lazer all performing. The 3 day festival begins September 2 through September 4 in Union Park here in Chicago. Joining me on this edition is Co-Founder Mike Raspatello who speaks about some difficulty he ran in trying to sign bands to perform, becoming more “greener,” avoiding controversial bands, keeping a Chicago presence on stage and what you should take away from the festivities once it’s all said and done.

Don’t forget to subscribe to the only show dedicated to the Chicago artist on iTunes. (link is to right of the screen)
